First time students must sign up for an assessment test at the Waipahu Community School office between December 12 to January 13, 2012; 8:00am - 3:00pm. Placement tests will be held on January 4 and 18, 5:00pm. Books: $31.

Returning students: Register at the Waipahu Community School office and report to previous class on the first scheduled date. Students enrolled in day classes please report to Waipahu United Church of Christ.

High School Diploma Program

If you are going to attend class at the Waipahu Community School:

  • Sign up for Assessment Test: Monday - Thursday, December 6 - 8, 2011 (or until filled) between 8:00am and 3:00pm.
  • Assessment Test: January 3 - 5, 2012 – 5:00pm (Report by 4:45pm to take test)

Test results and class placement will be posted on Monday, January 23 and Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 6:15pm.*

*Do not call the school for results.

Textbooks will be sold the first night. Since students will not know their placement until the first night, they should bring $21 for class texts. GED book is $21, CB book is $12. A Casio FX-260 calculator which is used on the GED Test will be available for $10.

Want to prepare for or improve your score on the Compass Test? An online preparation program is now available and can be accessed using your home computer and internet connection. Cost per module (Math, Reading, Writing) is $20. Students may enroll by visiting any one of the Community School Campuses (Waipahu, Kapolei, or Waianae). $10 registration fee will be required for enrollment.
