Compass Test Preparation
Attention all and prospective Community College students! Need to prepare for or improve your score on the Compass Test? Enroll in our online computer preparation program and work on the modules from your home computer (internet access is needed). Math, Reading and Writing modules are available at $20 each. Enrollment can be conducted by visiting any one of the Community Schools (Waipahu, Kapolei or Waianae Campus).
Medical Terminology
Learn the definition, spelling, and pronunciation of medical words/terms dealing with the human body. Surgical diagnostic procedures, disease conditions as well as commonly used medical abbreviations/pharmacological terms will also be covered.
Tai Chi (Yang)
An internal Chinese martial art often practiced with the aim of promoting health and longevity. Tai chi is considered a soft style martial art - an art applied with internal power - to distinguish its theory and application from that of the hard martial art styles. Instructor has practiced since 1980 and taught continuously since 1994.
